Lagardère Travel Retail Bulgaria is part of the French group Lagardère Travel Retail operating one of the largest international networks of over 4 thousand sales outlets in 30 countries with total annual turnover of over 3,500 MEUR. Our continued growth on the Bulgarian market has seen us develop a network of over 110 outlets across the Travel Essentials and Foodservice business lines. We operate under an array of widely recognized brands, such as Inmedio, Relay, 1Minute, Onda, etc. and continuously strive to provide a unique customer proposition in the travel retail segment through development of our proprietary concepts.

To support the growth and increasing complexity of our business, we are looking for a bright and motivated person to join our Finance team on the position of

 

FINANCE & BUSINESS ANALYST

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interact with multiple stakeholders within the company
  • Understand the relationships between operational and commercial actions and the resulting sales and financial results
  • Analyze sales trends and variances across the entire brand and channel portfolio of the company
  • Prepare sales forecasts and projections at detailed store by product category level
  • Analyze gross profit margins at different levels of the product hierarchy
  • Follow-up and investigate deviations from expected product costs
  • Perform profitability analysis at store/ product category level
  • Identify and propose actions to improve profitability/ mitigate risks
  • Assist in preparation of finance simulations and business plans
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and re-estimation process
  • Provide support in the monthly financial and management reporting process

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or related field
  • Excellent data handling and processing skills (MS Excel is a must, SQL an advantage)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of business processes
  • Highly organized and results-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Previous retail experience is an advantage
  • Self-driven and motivated team player
